I have been painting for many years, and currently I am switching

my style and mediums to expand what I offer. I have added both watercolor and re-introduced acrylic paintings back after a long break to focus on photography. Returning to my love of painting has brought a level of peace and relaxation that my other careers have not offered.

Waiting Here for You Series

This series of watercolor paintings were created for my beautiful son as our family waited through a long and trying 3.5 year long adoption process. As I was waiting,

I decided to start a new hobby, which unexpectedly became a love for watercolor painting. I decided to try and paint woodland style images for his nursery in attempt to keep my hope alive. Soon after I started these, we adopted our son. I then finished the final piece, after he was home, Finally, Who-o You Are.

The Dawn's Fawn represents our first year of this journey and the fresh hope, excitement, and inspiration we felt.

l'll Be Dam-ed was the second year full of heartbreak, grief, and brokenness.

Holding on by a Hare for the third year became a year of listening, learning, and feeling inspired for new things ahead, while still managing the unknown.

Finally, Who-o You Are was the 4th year, discerning whether to continue or quit this journey, and looking to the Lord. We finally met our beautiful son and can see how perfect he is for our family. I always wondered who he would be, while I waited. He is full of joy and sweetness!
